Coaching…dancing in the moments of the journey.
The art of dancing in the moment hinges upon our ability and agility to learn, to have perspective, and to execute choice. It is amplified by the understanding of values, beliefs, and talents. It is nurtured by an integrated approach that includes intellect, emotion, and spirit. Our emotions signal alignment and facilitate choice.Feeling pleased, grounded, and inspired are positive indicators. Feeling agitated, confused, and stuck are negative indicators. Life is an ongoing journey, and change is our dedicated partner. How do you dance with change? What is coaching? My coaching targets you, not your “stories.” Stories are point-in-time perspectives of life events; they do not define who you are. In other words, we focus on you, not your situation. My sessions expand perspectives, integrate new concepts, and build skills that you can immediately leverage, adapt, and obtain results from. The sessions dynamically build upon each other creating synergy and a safe place to release limitations. What is learned becomes integrated and part of your everyday experience. It is truly transformational. Believe it or not, the hardest part is letting go of the old stories that no longer serve a purpose. Are you willing to say goodbye to your stories? Olympic athletes have understood this for decades. Professional coaches maximize technique, expose self-imposed limitations, and drive exceptional results. Are you ready to be coached? Who works with John? I work with individuals, corporations, couples, teams, and groups. My clients are ready to say goodbye to their old stories. They have a spark, a drive, a thirst to take on the world one day at a time. They desire a compassionate, holistic approach that supports all aspects of who they are -- intellectual, emotional, and spiritual. And although it’s common to feel some nervousness about coaching at first, our initial conversations address any apprehensions you may have. My clients are ready to step into saying yes to change, take ownership, and steward their own destiny. Themes:
Where does coaching take place? We can conduct our coaching sessions in person or on the phone. The typical client meets with me by telephone (or Skype) so that we can connect anytime and anywhere. The advantages are:
