Consulting...delivering on change in an integrated way.
All projects benefit from leadership that draws out the very best effort from each project team member. If team members are coached, empowered, and guided to leverage and maximize their potential, the project is well positioned for ultimate success. How your team is aligned to its common goal, its common purpose, can be key to the success of your endeavor. Engaging people collectively is different from engaging them individually. My approach encourages alignment between the needs of the project, of the organization, and of team members, while also providing a solid framework for success. Achieving extraordinary results on a project or initiative requires an integrated, multidisciplinary approach now more than ever. Mature organizations might desire to refocus, refine, and recalibrate. Startups may seek fast, iterative, and agile delivery, while others may require a hybrid or niche approach driven by regulation or shifting technologies. I leverage experience, education and proven methods to deliver innovative solutions for your organization’s unique environment, including rigorous project execution and delivery (PMI); understanding of the people side of change and adoption (Prosci); best practices in process, quality and innovation (Six Sigma); and optimizing people and performance (Coach U/Co-Active Coaching). My clients count on me to provide outstanding project leadership and execution. I operate as an agent on behalf of my clients, empowered by established trust, understanding, and rapport. Inherent in this approach is a delicate balance of delivering industry standard methodologies while identifying potentially harmful status quo behaviors and practices. Amazing opportunities can come from simply asking “Why?” Why hire a consultant? Many organizations have in-house project delivery teams, but there are various reasons to hire a consultant. Most often the decision is based on skillset. Historically, I am brought in whenever there the initiative is complex, critical and visible. Clients hire me to manage what seems unmanageable, and range from Fortune 100 companies to independent start-ups. Where does consulting take place? Consulting can be done in person or virtually. In today’s world, many teams are distributed around the world, and the ability to work in a virtual environment is essential. I have over 15 years of experience working with virtual teams. Typically, a consulting engagement is a hybrid of face-to-face and virtual. |
